Born in Nagina, a small village in Uttar Pradesh, India, his journey began there before he later relocated to Delhi with his family during the late 1960s. Tragedy struck early in his life with the untimely demise of his father, thrusting him into the responsibilities of supporting his family alongside his two elder brothers.

In the face of adversity, Mr. Baldev Raj Kapoor fought tirelessly and eventually established stability for his family. He embraced fatherhood, raising two sons named Mr. Bharat Kapoor and Aakash Kapoor. His compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to helping others manifested in his personal initiatives to assist people using his own resources. Whether it was addressing healthcare needs, facilitating education, or providing for daily essentials, he dedicated himself to these causes.

In honor of his noble vision and aspirations, both of his sons embarked on the journey of formalizing his legacy by founding the BALDEV RAJ KAPOOR Foundation.
